DNS in Active Directory
Active Directory doesn't just use DNS — it IS DNS. DC locator queries are SRV-based, Kerberos requires DNS, replication uses hostnames. But AD-integrated DNS has a critical default: any authenticated user can create DNS records, enabling authenticated MitM without ARP spoofing.
